The Symphony Within

by | Growth, Meditation, Wisdom

Often, we may look for happiness through the validation of others, in short-lived pleasures and in external accomplishments.

We might chase the horizon, thinking that bliss is located just beyond our immediate reach. Still at times we may hear whispers that come from our quiet spaces.

Bliss is our inborn nature, our most primordial state, not a destination.

The path is not about gaining bliss, but about allowing its radiance to naturally shine, clearing up the layers that obstruct it.

The continuous mental content often conceals the only space where bliss can be experienced, this priceless present moment.

The echoes of daily life soften in the spacious chambers of our hearts, a blissful essence is the warmth that stays within.

When attended to, this quiet symphony of being infuses the ordinary with the extraordinary. It is not meant to be an elusive state, but a rediscovery of our fundamental nature.

Beyond identifications, above to physical compulsions, prior to closed mental circuits, transcending cravings, below the skin, after having worked out, before getting lost in thoughts, bliss is the all encompassing background.

If we are not experiencing it, we can close our eyes, just be with what is it, as it is, without any intervention, with total acceptance, with total observation.

We can realize that bliss is the very presence of existence. It is what remains when everything else is gone, no mind, no thoughts.

At first, we enjoy our blissful essence in stillness. It is not about inactivity, but about the stillness of a calm awareness.

We can start to hear the soft melody of our interiority in these moments of pleasant quietude.

Once we get the grasp of it, we can be aware of its tempered cadence, of how its presence is intertwined with our activities.

Simple practices like deep breathing, meditation, or a quiet walk in nature can create spaces for stillness.

Allowing ourselves to take a pause, is a profound caring act, to simply enjoy being, without the continuous need to be doing something.

Being an observer of our thoughts and emotions, without colouring them in any way.

Noticing they are transient, just like clouds that pass without touching the sky, they do not define our core.

Our blissful essence is enhanced when we observe the interconnection with the beauty that surrounds us.

The immensity of the starry sky and the delicate rustling of leaves, share a sanctuary where our sense of wonder shines.

Sharing moments of joy, being delighted with meaningful connections, understanding and empathy grants a resonance that expands the sense of bliss.

We can share bliss through creative acts, writing, art, or music.

Creative expressions carry the inner world to the outer, this in turn enables deeper comprehension of both worlds.

Breath is bliss anchoring, it is our subtle yet powerful companion, the gift that brings together the internal and external aspects. If the mental contents wander, we can return home through the sensation of our breath.

The path back to inborn bliss ultimately requires a surrender, a complete trust in the wisdom of existence.

It is present when we release the resistance, not trying to impose any will, allowing life to keep on unfolding.

When we live in alignment with it, we resonate with the ambient around us. Its authenticity is the key that opens the gate to genuine joy and connection, transcending personality or character.

Engaging fully with our senses, we can enjoy a sensory immersion, listening to the song of natural sounds, feeling the ground beneath our feet, tasting the sweetness of a fruit.

Delighting in our blissful essence is not about a constant euphoric state, but about thanking a prevailing harmony within.

Recognizing that we are more than our likes and dislikes or the sum of our vital experiences, we can live daily with a sense of blissful awareness.

Frequently, the illusion of trying to control or impose breeds stress. When we surrender to the stream of life, it is because we accept that some things are not in our hands.

A powerful catalyst to experience our blissful essence is gratefulness.

The loving unspoken understanding and the joyful presence of fascination, are some of the places where it finds its most authentic expression.

In a deep reverence to the wonder and beauty of our life, in a sense of awe and gentleness.

When we embody unconditional love through the gift of acceptance.

Not feeling the need to change or control others, enables us to embrace our precious common essence.

The prevailing glow of loving bliss, as a kind reminder, illuminates our lives.

In the blissful symphony within, love is the melody that harmonizes all accompanying notes.
